Sermon wk02 - Psalm 92:1-2

Sunday Sermon
Psalm 92:1-2

Week 2/Day 7

Hi everyone, it’s Tricia with an Alone With God journal guide for today. If you haven’t ordered your Alone With God journal guide, you can do so at wordbymail.com. It’s a great way to meet with the Lord every day of the week in an intentional way.

Today is Sunday, and I hope you are going or have gone to church. I hope you had your Alone With God journal if you went to church because it is compact and designed to carry along with your Bible. There is a page titled “Sermon Notes” for Key Points and Notes from the sermon. In addition, there’s a place to write Key Verses and a Prayer For The Coming Week ahead.

If you couldn’t make it to a church service today, I encourage you to join us for a full sermon. This audio guide’s description links to the first message in our short topical series called Heaven.” The message’s title is Heaven Is Real,” and it has been a real encouragement and blessing for those who have listened to it or watched it.

If you don’t see the link to the message in this description, open the wordbymail phone app, tap the search icon, and type in “Heaven is Real.” You can do that on the website as well at wordbymail.com. Then, you can open your Alone With God journal to your “Sermon Notes” journal page and watch or listen to the message, make notes, and learn from the Heaven series.

Let’s read a couple of verses from the Book of Psalms for today and pray together. The scripture is from Psalm 92, verses 1-2, and I am reading from the NLT.

Psalm 92:1-2 (NLT)
1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High.
2 It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,

Let’s pray.

Heavenly Father, it is indeed good to give thanks to you. It is good to wake up singing praises to you, the Most High God. Lord, to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning is such a wonderful way to begin the day. To acknowledge your lovingkindness the very first thing in the morning and to go to bed declaring your faithfulness every night, God, is good and right, and we want to honor you by doing just that. Thank you, Lord, for this day where we can proclaim your unfailing love and faithfulness to us. May you be glorified by our praises to you today. In your mighty name, Jesus, amen.

Alright, thanks for joining me today. May you be incredibly blessed as you move forward in your day. See you next time. Bye.
