Thank You

Hey, y’all. It’s Daisy. Today, we are focusing on the “What Am I Grateful For This Week?” page in our Alone With God journal. If you don’t have our Alone With God journal, that is okay. You can get one at wordbymail.com. Spending quality time with God each day strengthens our relationship with him, which strengthens us and gives us security in navigating life.

For today’s devotional, I want to lead us in a brief gratitude prayer so that we reflect on the things that God has provided for us purely out of love without us even having to ask. So, please close your eyes, take a deep breath, and pray with me.

Thank you. Thank you for this day. Thank you for the air that I breathe. Thank you for the gift of life. Thank you for the warmth of the sun on my skin. Thank you for the cool breeze in my hair. Thank you for water. Thank you for the ground beneath my feet. Thank you for the trees. Thank you for the rain. Thank you for the flowers. Thank you for all of my senses. Thank you for freedom and for laughter. Thank you for travel. Thank you for rest. Thank you for friendship. Thank you for reflection. Thank you for the lessons I have learned. Thank you for the things I’ve experienced. Thank you for the night sky. Thank you for every star. Thank you for the oceans. Thank you for the mountains. Thank you for silence. Thank you for my purpose. Thank you for sleep. Thank you for new beginnings. Thank you for the gift of choice. Thank you for the balance of life. Thank you for peace. Thank you for love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Alright. Thank you so much for spending time with me today and, most importantly, for spending time with God. I hope that you know that he loves you so much and he is so delighted whenever you come to him. I love you. And have a grateful week.
