What Am I Grateful For?
Psalm 46:1-3
Week 8/Day 6
Hi everyone, it’s Tricia with another Alone With God journal guide. Grab your journals and turn them to your “What am I grateful for this week?” page for your current week. This page is set up simply. In the box that says Answered Prayers, take the time to look back over your week and see where God has answered your prayers. And then, write down how God answered your prayers this week. Prayers being answered are an incredible gift, and praising God and being grateful for them when this happens can be just as powerful.
That leads us into the blank lines below your answered prayers area. In this section, you can write the things you are grateful for this week. Remember, even through our difficulties, we have things to be thankful to God for. This area is where you want to record those blessings in your life – big and small.
Today, I’d like to close with Psalm 46:1- 3. I will be reading from the NLT. I will read the verses, and then Daisy will close with prayer.
Psalm 46:1-3 (NLT)
1 God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
2 So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.
3 Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!
Here’s Daisy.
Today’s prayer is based off of Psalm 46, verses 1-3.
Heavenly Father, I believe and I accept that you, Lord, are my refuge and my strength. The earth can quake, the seas can roar, and the mountains can shake. But I will not be afraid when the storms of my life appear. I know that my God is here to rescue me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
